CLASSES WILL BE HELD IN-PERSON AT KARAMU HOUSE
Karamu Sankofa Acting: Begin a strong foundation in approaching threatre on a professional level. Through the exploration of theatre games, improv and history all students will learn how to channel their natural gifts to theatre. A select playwright of the African Diaspora will be explored through analysis, technique and performance.
Drawing historical and social connections to the past and present is the building blocks of believable characters and well-rounded performance.
Select students will be invited into the core touring ensemble based on attendance and work ethic.
Dates: Saturdays February 5th - April 30th

Required Materials: Materials will be provided
Tuition and Fees: $25 annual Registration Fee + $180 Tuition
Covid Protocol: Masks are required in addition to social distancing.
Culmination: STUDENTS WILL PERFORM APRIL 30TH AT KARAMU HOUSE
